All kind of tournaments

There are various typology of tournament and depending on the type, also play strategies must be different to obtain the maximum:

• Freeze Out
  It’s the simpler and more attended way. Every registered player has a certain number of Chips and once run out the starting supply him will be eliminated from the tournament. Are not admitted re-buy or add-on.
  
• Double Chance
  Chips starting supply is divided in two equal parts. The first half is given immediately to the player; the second one can be demanded by the same player in the following phases. Can be fixed a limit time to demand the second half of chips. Are not admitted re-buy or add-on.
  
• Re-Buy
  Players can obtain a new chips supply against a predefined tournament cost, for example, a cost equal to registration payment. Re-buy is limited both for the number of times and the phase in which it can be requested: for example, a tournament can permit one or more re-buys only in the first 3 play levels or within the first play hour. Depending on the tournament, the re-buy can be granted if a player has less chips in respect to the starting supply, or only if the starting supply is totally exhausted. Every re-buy cost will be the same as buy-in tournament cost, excluded the registration fee.
  
• Add-on
  In this kind of game, players can obtain the same chips supply as the starting one, best known as “Add-on”. It’s admitted only one Add-on (in a established moment) per tournament. If a player renounce to the Add-on, he will lose definitively the right to obtain it. Add-on cost is equal to buy-in tournament cost, excluded the registration fee.
  
• Rebuy + Add-on
  Players can purchase, in established phases, one or more re-buys and only one add-on. In every case, add-on purchase will follow the re-buy one: or better, there will be a phase in which players could buy one or more re-buys, then will be admitted to obtain add-on too. After add-on phase, any player might purchase a re-buy. Re-buy and Add-on cost is equal to buy-in tournament cost, excluded registration fee.
  
• Turbo
  In a turbo tournament blind levels change more quickly than other normal tournaments (about 5-7 minutes).
  
• Super Turbo
  In a super turbo tournament blind levels change more quickly than turbo and normal tournaments (about 3 minutes).
  
• Double Stack
  In a double stack tournament, starting supply chips provided to players are more than in other normal stack tournaments.
  
• Head's up
  The head’s up tournament is composed by two players. Who get a leg up on the other player will win the entire jackpot.
  
• Short handed (o 6-max)
  Short handed (or six player maximum) is a multi-table tournament composed by six player maximum per table.
  
• Shoot out
  Shoot out is a multi-table tournament in which players are no moved to other tables to balance the number of participants. Every table players will play as long as only one player remain in play. Subsequently, every table winners will play in new tables. In double shoot out tournaments, it’s enough to win two tables to award the entire tournament. Instead, in a triple shoot out it takes three victory to win the tournament.
  
• Knock out
  In this kind of tournament there is a reward on each player. It corresponds to a little buy-in part. The remaining buy-in will constitute the normal tournament jackpot. Everyone who eliminate a challenger will receive the corresponding reward, independently from his final ranking.
  
• Satellite
  Satellite tournaments raffle off the registration ticket to higher buy-in tournaments. Players can also go to higher buy-in tournament simply paying the buy-in registration.
  
• Guarantee Jackpot Tournaments
  This kind of tournaments assure to winner players a guarantee jackpot, independently from the number of registered participants. However, this kind of tournaments may have an established minimum number of registered players (if this minimum is not reached, the entire tournament will be deleted).
